Music is my life..... My mom and dad would sing to me as a baby and I would echo the same pitches before I could barely speak and at an early age I knew that music was what I was meant to be doing. I grew up surrounded in gospel roots. My grandfather Bill Shaw (recently inducted into the gospel music hall of fame) instilled to me the love for harmonies in music. I was doing homework on my moms bed in junior high and had the radio on an oldies station where I heard "Hey Jude" by the Beatles and it totally enthralled me. That sparked my love and appreciation for writing.

Through high school, music was all I cared about...it's amazing that I threw a square hat. College was a short six weeks for me. I dropped out and joined the band Geronimo Rex. Over the next few years through touring and recording I grew as a writer and performer and decided that my potential had reached its climax in the Magnolia state (Mississippi) and moved north to Nashville.

Here I've been surrounded by outstanding musicians and writers who have helped me define a sound that represent my life and it's history and I feel that I've opened a creative outlet toward music and it's endless stream of creativity. Tomorrow is a flower waiting to bloom...........
